Editors Notes: There are several versions of 117 or 117X.
The bottom leg C3 is different between 117 and 117X. X denoting added stainless steel to the leg, instead of chromed parts. We can not differenciate between these parts, so our C3 could be either chrome or stainless. The main casting parts and leg braces are NOT interchangeable with later models; as are the Center Columns, Cranks and Gears. The length of the leg tube is longer on the 117X. All other part are compatible in the 117 series. The main casting parts and elevation crank and gears are NOT interchangeable with later models.
